Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice will be a positive, fun and friendly environment, providing an oasis of love, encouragement and practical help to support families through the most difficult times. It will offer flexible and specialist services for children and young people with life limiting or terminal illnesses. Respite and palliative care will offer quality in life and dignity in death for the 300 children within South Yorkshire and the North Midlands who will have use of the facility.

With no central funding, Bluebell Wood is entirely reliant on fundraising and charitable donations, donations from trusts, companies and individual supporters. Our care and services will be completely free of charge.

The cost to build and equip the hospice is £4 million, and running costs are estimated at £1.8 million annually. It is only thanks to the whole community that we will be able to provide this essential facility.
